For the 5
th straight game the Moeller bats banged out 10 or more runs in a game. Today it was 21 runs on 5 Moeller home runs.
Jake Gaerke was first to hit in the top of the 2
nd inning. Two batters later, Desmon Gault popped one. In the 3
rd inning it was Alexs Lott's turn, with
Tyler Zimmerman to follow 2 batters later.
The Crusaders were not done, because
Josh Adelsperger followed Zimm to slam out the Freshman's 5
th home run in back to back innings.
Lott, Zimmerman, Gaerke, Adelsperger, and Gault each got 2 hits in the game, with
Mason Patrick,
Camden Broadnax,
Alex Tucker, and
Gunnar Voellmecke each getting hits.
Jack Ujvagi started on the mound and pitched 2.2 innings allowing 5 runs on 6 hits, 2 walks and 1 strikeout.
Aidan Sullivan closed the game, pitching 3.1 innings allowing 4 runs on 6 hits, 1 walk and 4 strikeouts.
