The Moeller Freshman Crusaders completed the sweep of the GCL South yesterday by downing the La Salle Lancers in 5 innings by a score of 15-4.

Moeller scored 7 runs in the 1^st inning and did not look back. Reggie Watson III led off the game with a walk.

Zac Wittenauer singled, Ronnie Allen walked, and Ricky Maschinot doubled. Connor Maupin and John Stallo hit back to back singles and walks to Carter Matthews, Brody Schmidt, and Zac Wittenauer rounded out 9 batters reaching base in the inning.

Ricky Maschinot, John Stallo, and Brody Schmidt each collected 2 hits in the game.

CJ Gilpin pitched 4.2 innings in relief of Carson Fuhrer to pick up the win. Gilpin gave up only 1 run on 5 hits, with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts.
