Brody Schmidt's 3 hit day propelled the Moeller Crusaders to victory over the Conner Cougars by a score of 8-2. 

Moeller plated 3 runs in the bottom of the 1^st inning. Reggie Watson III led off with a double and Zac Wittenauer followed with a triple. 

Ronnie Allen hit a sac fly to score Wittenauer. Ricky Maschinot walked and stole second to set up Michael Weber's RBI single. 

Moeller scored 3 more in the bottom of the 2^nd inning. Will Schlake let off with a double and scored on Brody Schmidt's first of three hits. 

With 1 out, back to back hits by Zac Wittenauer and Ronnie Allen and a sac fly from Ricky Maschinot added 3 more runs for the Crusaders. 

Hitting leaders today in addition to Schmidt were Will Schlake 2 for 3, Zac Wittenauer 2 for 3. 

John Stallo also collected in addition to the others mentioned above.  

Carson Fuhrer collected the win on the mound tossing 4 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 3 hits, 2 walks, and 7 strikeouts. 

Luke Sobolewski pitched the last 3 innings of shutout baseball allowing no hits and striking out 4 Conner batters.  

The Moeller freshman record jumps to (24-0) on the season and (8-0) in the GCL.
