The Milford Eagles were the opponent for the Moeller Freshman today. The Crusaders rallied behind the dominant 5 inning pitching of
Teagan Cumberland enroute to a 10-0 run rule, shutout win.
Teagan gave up 3 hits and struck out 2 Milford batters while not walking a batter. The offense started early.
Landen Adams led off the bottom of the 1
st inning with a walk and promptly stole second.
Carson Shroyer walked to set up a line drive triple to the right center field wall from
Jake Gaerke to put Big Moe up 2-0.

JayC Stonestreet singled,
Alex Lott walked and with 2 outs, Shroyer walked to load the bases.
Tyler Zimmerman crushed a ball to left center field to clear the bases and Gaerke continued his torrid hitting by lining a double to score Zimmerman.
Teagan Cumberland singled to drive in Gaerke and Stonestreet collected his second hit of the inning to score Teagan and cap off a 6 run inning.
The Moeller Freshman record is (8-2) and (1-2) in the GCL.
