Recap:
The Moeller Frosh bounced back with a solid victory over the Loveland Tigers today at the Blue Ash Sports Complex.
Alex Tucker pitched 5 stellar innings allowing no runs and only 2 hits with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts.
Tyler Willenbrink closed the game with 2 innings of work.
Moeller scored early on a
Landen Adams walk, stolen base and a
Carson Shroyer blast triple over the right fielder's head. Walks to Desmon Gault and
Carson Curran set up a 2 RBI single by Dante Ware to put the Crusaders up 3-0.
Shroyer led off the 3
rd inning with his second hit of the day. Walks to
Tyler Zimmerman and
Jake Gaerke set up
Alex Lott's RBI single.
The hit parade continued with a Desman Gault single to score pinch runner
Josh Beacock to round out the scoring. Other Crusaders contributing hits today were
Mason Patrick and
Gunnar Voellmecke.
The Moeller Freshman record goes to (7-2) and (1-2) in the GCL.
