MOELLER 12   ELDER 2 (6 INNINGS)

The Moeller Freshman swung back into GCL action taking on the Elder Panthers at the Blue Ash Sports Complex. 

Teagan Cumberland pitched a 6 inning gem on the mound. He was in command the entire game, allowing 2 runs, 1 of which was unearned. He gave up 3 hits, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts. 

Moeller set the tone early. Landon Adams led off the game with a base hit. 

With 1 out, Carson Shroyer singled as did Tyler Zimmerman to drive in Adams. Teagan Cumberland banged out a single to score Shroyer to go up 2-0, a lead the Crusaders never gave up. 

Moeller added 3 more runs in the 3^rd inning on back to back hits from Aiden Sullivan and Carson Shroyer and a rbi single by Jake Gaerke. 

The Crusaders scored 3 runs in the 4^th inning and 4 in the 5^th inning. However, It was the bottom of the 6^th inning that sent the Moeller Freshman to a walk off 10 run rule. 

Josh Adlesperger led off the inning with a walk and stole second base. Alex Lott reached on an error and Adlesperger scored. JayC Stonestreet pinch ran for Lott and went first to third on a Kayde Ridley single. Landon Adams sent a long fly ball to left field for the sacrifice fly to score Stonestreet with the walk-off run and send the Crusaders to victory. 

Moeller's overall records is 6-1 and 1-1 in the GCL.
