In the nightcap of the doubleheader at the beautiful Defiance High School Baseball Complex, the Moeller Freshman took on the Fairview High School JV team. 

This was a great pitching exhibition by Carter Christenson. Carter recorded 12 of the 15 putouts by strikeout. He threw 70 total pitches, 51 of which were strikes and only 19 balls, while allowing only 1 infield hit. 

This coupled with Logan Rosenberger's pitching in the 1^st game, made for a great day for the Moeller pitching staff.

They allowed a combined total of 3 hits, 3 walks, 18 strikeouts and 0 earned runs in the 10 total innings. 

Moeller scored in the top of the 1^st inning with a leadoff triple by Charlie Valencic. Charlie scored when Jackson Porta reached on an error. 

In the top of the 2^nd inning, Shane Duke led off the inning with a double over the head of the right fielder and scored on Brody Foltz's double, his first on 2 hits on the day. 

It was the 5^th inning that Moeller sealed the deal and the run rule on a walk off line drive base hit by Owen Holland. 

Moeller scored 7 runs on 5 walks, and hits by Valencic , Love, and Holland. 

The Moeller Freshman record goes to 19-0 overall and a GCL Championship record of 8-0.
