Recap: Ron Roth

Turpin was the opponent for the Moeller Freshman team today. Moeller scored first in the bottom of the 3^rd inning. 

With 1 out, back to back to back walks to Carter Christenson, Will Schirmer and Jovan Love set up a sac fly, RBI from Jackson Porta to score Moeller's 1^st run. 

Shane Duke was hit by the pitch to load the bases again and Logan Rosenberger singled to drive in Schirmer and Love. 

Connor Scoggins followed up with a single to drive in Duke and Rosenberger to put the Crusaders up 5-0. 

Moeller added 2 more runs the next inning. Cooper Ridley walked and Christenson doubled. Ridley then scored on a Matt Fogler RBI single and Christenson scored on a RBI single by Jackson Porta.  

Turpin scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 5^th inning to make the game 7-5. Moeller added 1 more run in the bottom of the 6^th inning.  

Ethan Childs started the game on the mound throwing 4.2 innings allowing 5 runs, 3 earned on 6 hits, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts, to pick up the win. 

Jovan Love pitched 2.1 innings allowing no runs, 3 hits, 1 walk, 4 strikeouts, and 1 hit batter. 

The Moeller Freshman record goes to 21-0 and a GCL Championship record of 8-0.
