Recap: Ron Roth

The Moeller Freshman recorded their 20^th win of the season behind the 1 hit pitching of Joey Watts and Finn O'Keefe. 

Watts was the starter tossing 5.1 innings of no-hit baseball. He walked 3 batters, hit 2 batters and struck out 9 Centerville batters. 

Finn O'Keefe entered the game with runners on 1st and 2^nd base and 1 out and proceeded to strikeout the first 2 Elk batters he faced to end the inning. O'Keefe tossed the 7^th inning to pick up the save. 

Moeller scored their 1^st run in the top of the 3^rd inning with 2 outs, Charlie Valencic doubled and scored when Cooper Ridley reached on a overthrow of first base by the third baseman. 

The Crusaders scored their 2^nd run in the 5^th inning on back to back hits by Matt Fogler and Charlie Valencic and both scored when Jovan Love reached on an error. 

The win was sealed in the bottom of the 6^th inning. Finn O'Keefe singled, Shane Duke was hit by the pitch, Jake Bell put down a perfect bunt to advance O'Keefe and pinch runner Tommy Jewell. 

Will Schirmer drilled a base hit to score Moeller's 3^rd and 4^th run. Jackson Porta singled and Charlie Valencic collected his 3^rd hit on the day to drive in Schirmer, Porta scored on Cooper Ridley's fielder's choice.  

The Moeller Freshman record reached 20-0 and a GCL Championship record of 8-0.
