A day after clinching the 2022 Freshman GCL Championship, the Crusaders downed the Conner Cougars 8-1.
Led by the 3 hit performance of
Jovan Love and his great relief pitching, Moeller got a come from behind victory, 8-1.
Conner scored their only run in the top of the first inning. In the bottom of the 2
nd inning,
Tucker Wilburn reached on an error.
Logan Rosenberg drilled a base hit to left,
Brody Foltz walked to load the bases. Wilburn scored our first run when the catcher dropped a ball thrown by the shortstop on
Jackson Porta's fielder's choice. Rosey scored on
Charlie Valencic's ground out.
Jovan Love led off the 4
th inning drilling a ball over the right field fence.
Joey Watts walked and eventually scored on a sac fly by
Logan Rosenberger.
Charlie Valencic doubled to lead off the 4
th inning moved to 3
rd on a wild pitch and scored on
Jake Bell's sac fly.

Charlie Valencic had 2 hits including a double.
Tucker Wilburn started the game on the mound tossing 3.2 innings to pick up the win. He gave up 1 unearned run on 1 hit, 6 walks, and 7 strikeouts.
