The GCL leading Moeller Freshman took on league rival LaSalle Lancers today at Blue Ash Sports Complex.
After following behind 3-0 in the 2
nd inning, the Moeller bats came alive.
Eric Fleetwood reached on an E5 to start the inning.
Braylon Connell pinch running was forced at 2nd base on a
Connor Scoggins fielder's choice.
Tucker Wilburn drilled a double to score Scoggins and
Griffin Booth followed with a double over the right fielder's head.
Moeller added 2 more in the 3
rd inning. A leadoff hit by
Charlie Valencic and a triple by
Jovan Love tied the game.
Eric Fleetwood hit a sac fly to score Love. Moeller never looked back.
They added 9 more runs in the last 3 innings to run rule the Lancers.
Hitting leaders for the Crusaders were:

Joey Watts 3-4.
Logan Rosenberger was the starting pitcher and tossed 1.2 innings.
Ethan Childs came in relief and shut the Lancers down for the next 3.1 innings to get the win. Ethan gave up 2 hits, 3 walks and recorded 5 strikeouts.
Tucker Wilburn shut the door in the last inning facing the minimum 3 batters.
The Moeller Freshman record is 12-0 and 6-0 to lead the GCL.
