On the best weather day of the year, the Moeller Frosh traveled to Fairfield to take on their Freshman team. 

Moeller scored 6 runs in the 3^rd inning on just 1 hit by Joey Watts and a sac fly from Jake Bell. They capitalized on Fairfield's pitcher's wildness. 

He walked 5 Moeller batters and hit another. In the 4th inning the Crusaders added 4 more runs. 

A leadoff double by Ethan Childs, followed by walks to Charlie Valencic and Carter Christenson loaded the bases. Jovan Love hit a laser base hit to right center to score 2 and Jake Bell added another hit and RBI. 

Joey Watts was the winning pitcher tossing 4 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 1 hit, with 4 walks and 4 strikeouts.  

Finn O'Keefe closed the game pitching the last 3 innings with 4 strikeouts to pick up the save.  

The Moeller Freshman record goes to 11-0 overall and 5-0 to lead the GCL.
