Pitching and timely hitting was the name of today's GCL contest at The Moeller Athletic Complex.
Logan Rosenberger tossed a dominate 1 hit shutout to down GCL rival St. X. Logan threw 5 innings allowing 1 hit, with 1 walk, 1 hit batter and 6 strikeouts.
The Crusaders scored 1 run in the 1
st inning when
Carter Christenson singled, went to 2
nd and 3
rd on passed balls, and scored on a
Jovan Love line drive base hit.
Moeller added 2 more runs in the 3
rd inning when
Charlie Valencic led off with a base hit, his 1
st of 2 hits on the day.
Jovan Love walked and Valencic and Love stole 2
nd and 3
rd respectfully to set the stage for
Jake Bell's 2 RBI base hit. But, it was the Crusaders 9 run 4
th inning that sealed the deal.
A leadoff double by

Griffin Booth's 2
nd hit of the day, followed by base hits from
Charlie Valencic and
Carter Christenson, at triple by
Jovan Love sealed the fate of the Bombers.
