Owen Holland that combined to toss the Moeller Freshman's 3
rd no-hitter of the year. The duo faced the minimum 15 batters in the 5 inning contest.
Wilburn pitched the first 4 innings striking out 9 of the 12 batters he faced. He walked 1 batter, then picked him off base.
Owen Holland pitched the 5
th inning facing 3 batters with 1 strikeout.
Will Schirmer singled in the 1
st inning and scored on a
Jake Bell double to send the Crusaders up 1-0.
In the 2
nd inning
Jackson Porta reached on a strikeout and passed ball and went home on
Cooper Ridley's triple and he scored on Schirmer's second hit of the day.
Moeller then went on to score 10 runs in the 4
th inning to gain the run rule victory.
Charlie Valencic and
Eric Fleetwood had 2 hits, Schirmer had 3 hits and
Connor Scoggins contributed a double. Others collecting hits were
Jackson Porta and
Finn O'Keefe.
