The Moeller Freshman played their 4^th and final scrimmage of the pre-season by downing the Colerain Cardinals JV Team.

The Crusaders scored all 9 runs in the 3^rd inning. Logan Rosenberger led off the inning getting a base hit. Brody Foltz was hit by the pitch and Joey Watts singled to drive in Rosenberger. 

Alex Mattingly was also hit by the pitch, Carter Christenson walked, and Tucker Wilburn was the 3^rd Moeller batter to be hit by the pitch to send Watts home. 

Eric Fleetwood reached on an error and Jake Bell walked to load the bases to set up the blast of the day. Jovan Love jumped on a Colerain fastball and deposited it over the left field fence for the Freshman Team's 2^nd home run of the year and their first Grand Slam. 

Love also collected a second hit on the day. Other Moeller hitters getting hits were Jack Schreck, Jackson Porta, and Joey Watts.  

Three Crusader pitchers combined to pitch a 6 inning shutout.

Ethan Childs started and pitched the first 2 innings allowing 2 hits, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts, and 1 hit batter.

Matthew Fogler tossed the next 2 innings to pick up the win. He allowed 1 hit, 1 walk, and 2 strikeouts. 

Finn O'Keefe closed out the final 2 innings in grand fashion. He struck out 5 of the 6 batters he faced. Moeller's preseason schedule ends with a 4-0 record.
