Today's scrimmage with the Centerville Elks turned into a pitchers battle. 

It was Moeller's Carter Christenson and Logan Rosenberger who combined to pitch a no-hitter.

Christenson started the game tossing the first 4 innings facing only 1 batter over the minimum. Carter walked 1 batter, hit 1 batter and struck out 6 batters. He also picked 1 runner off base. 

Rosenberger pitched 2 innings walking 2 batters, hitting 1 batter and striking out 4 batters. 

Moeller scored all 3 runs in the 2^nd inning. Shane Duke led off the inning in hitting a bomb down the right field line for a triple. 

Jake Bell followed with a base hit driving in Duke. Jovan Love walked, Alex Mattingly reached on an error. With Love on 3^rd and Mattingly on 2^nd, Eric Fleetwood hit a sac fly to score Love. 

Brody Foltz followed with a rocket to left to score Mattingly. Moeller's only other hit of the day came from Charlie Valencic in the 3rd inning.

Moeller's preseason record goes to 3-0.
