The Moeller Frosh took on the St. Xavier Bombers today at Blue Ash Sports Complex.
The Crusaders scored first in the bottom of the 2
nd inning.
KJ Thomas led off the inning with a ball over the left fielder's head for a double.
Owen Cornett followed with a single to send Thomas to third.
With 1 out,
Matthew Clarke lined a double to score the first 2 runs of the game.
Clarke led the Moeller offense today with 3 hits including his double.
Greyson Homoelle had 2 hits and
Matthew McQueary,
Joshua Codner, and
Henry Tincher all had hits.
Rocco Vitucci started the game and pitched 4 innings allowing 2 runs, 1 of which was earned on 4 hits, 6 strikeouts and 1 walk.
Ryan Domingo pitched the last 3 innings allowing 1 unearned run on 2 hits with 6 strikeouts as well.
The Moeller Freshman record is now 5-3 and 0-2 in the GCL.
