In the first game of a doubleheader at Ray Sumpter Field in Bryan, Ohio, the Moeller Freshman took on the Bryan JV.  

Moeller got on the board first in the top of the third inning when Brody Schmidt banged a lead off double, Reggie Watson III singled, and Zac Wittenauer doubled. 

Big Moe scored again in the 4^th inning.  Will Schlake singled and scored on an error by the left fielder.  

The final 2 runs were posted in the 5^th inning. Zac Wittenauer singled and scored on Ricky Maschinot's triple. 

Maschinot scored when John Stallo reached on an error. Reggie Watson III and CJ Gilpin combined to toss the shutout.  

Watson pitched 5 innings, 2 hits, 2 walks, and 4 strikeouts. Gilpin threw 2 innings, no hits and 1 strikeout.  

The Moeller Freshman records climbs to (21-0) and (8-0) in the GCL.
