Zion Theophilus threw a shutout to lead Moeller past Princeton 7-0 on Tuesday.
Moeller fired up the offense in the second inning.
Connor Christenson drove in one when Christenson singled.
The Crusaders tallied three runs in the fifth inning.
Charlie Niehaus had an RBI sacrifice fly in the inning to lead the run scoring.
A double by Andrew Edrington in the sixth inning was a positive for the Vikings.
Theophilus was the winning pitcher for the Crusaders. Theophilus lasted seven innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out 11.
Carson McDaniel took the loss for Princeton. The left hander surrendered one run on two hits over two and a third innings, striking out three and walking zero.
Moeller racked up nine hits in the game.
Toby Hueber and
Clay Burdette all had multiple hits for the Crusaders.
Hueber went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Moeller in hits. The Crusaders were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
Nathan Manley made the most plays with 11. Moeller stole 11 bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Hueber led the way with three.
Edrington led Princeton Varsity Vikings with one hit in two at bats.
