Recap: Moeller Takes Victory Against Butler in Pitcher's Duel
 
Both teams were strong on the hill Saturday, but Moeller defeated Butler 3-2. The Crusaders pitchers allowed just two hits to Butler.
 
Moeller opened up scoring in the first inning, when Nathan Manley singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
 
Kellan Klosterman earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for the Crusaders. Klosterman went five and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out six and walking one. David Hagen threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.
 
E Ables led things off on the mound for Butler. The bulldog lasted seven innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out seven.
 
CJ Richard went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Moeller in hits.
