Moeller Varsity Falls to Regis Jesuit Varsity Raiders on Walk-off!
It came down to the last play, but Moeller was on the wrong end of a 6-5 defeat to Regis Jesuit on Tuesday. The game was tied at five with Regis Jesuit batting in the bottom of the seventh when Nick Wiley singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
The Crusaders fell behind by five runs in the sixth inning, but then tried to fight back. Moeller scored five runs in the failed comeback on a single by

Charlie Niehaus.
Pierce Martin led the Raiders to victory on the pitcher's mound. The bulldog went one inning, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out one.
Carson Marsh took the loss for the Crusaders. The right hander went two-thirds of an inning, allowing one run on one hit, striking out one and walking zero.
Liam Mosley started the game for the Raiders. The righty went six innings, allowing five runs on eight hits and striking out three.
Moeller collected nine hits on the day. Burdette and Gildea each managed multiple hits for the Crusaders. Gildea and Burdette all had two hits to lead Moeller in this one.
Regis Jesuit tallied nine hits. Andrew Bell, Tyce Smith, and Christain Lopez all managed multiple hits for the Raiders.
