Moeller Baseball clinches the GCL South Championship with today's win over Elder!
Recap: Runs Keep Coming as Moeller Defeats Elder
Moeller defeated Elder 7-1 by consistently putting runs on the scoreboard on Wednesday.
In the first inning, the Crusaders got their offense started. An error scored one run for Moeller.
Toby Hueber was the winning pitcher for the Crusaders. The righty went seven innings, allowing one run on five hits, striking out six and walking one.
Eckstein took the loss for Elder. The bulldog allowed six hits and five runs over four innings.
Moeller had seven hits in the game. Hueber and
CJ Richard all had multiple hits for the Crusaders. Richard and Hueber each managed two hits to lead Moeller.
The Crusaders didn't commit a single error in the field.
