Recap: The Moeller Crusaders Defeated Ryle, 4-1

Moeller Varsity took home a 4-1 victory over Ryle on Thursday.

Luke Pappano was credited with the victory for the Crusaders. The pitcher surrendered one run on two hits over five and two-thirds innings, striking out eight. Clay Burdette and Carson Marsh entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Marsh recorded the last out to earn the save for Moeller.

TH Schira took the loss for Ryle. The pitcher surrendered one run on one hit over four innings, striking out three.

Toby Hueber, Charlie Niehaus, Ethan Sweat, Connor Christenson, and Nathan Manley each collected one hit to lead Moeller to victory.
