A 12-run second inning led Moeller to a 14-3 victory on Tuesday.

Nate Earley all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
Reading got things moving in the first inning. Louie Hess tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Moeller evened things up at two in the bottom of the first inning.
Charlie Niehaus drove in one when Niehaus singled.
The Crusaders pulled away for good with 12 runs in the second inning. In the second Richard homered on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs, Manley doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Cady doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs, Burdette tripled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs, Hueber tripled on a 2-0 count, scoring three runs, and Earley singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Kellan Klosterman got the win for the Crusaders. The pitcher surrendered two runs on three hits over two innings, striking out three.
Nate Gaerke,
Ryan Benne, and
Carson Marsh all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
Connor Davis took the loss for Reading. The pitchers allowed three hits and five runs over one and one-third innings.
Moeller hit one home run on the day. Richard had a dinger in the second inning.
The Crusaders tallied 11 hits in the game. Richard, Burdette, and Earley all had multiple hits for Moeller. Earley, Burdette, and Richard each managed two hits to lead the Crusaders. Moeller didn't commit a single error in the field. Manley had four chances in the field, the most on the team.
Hess went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Reading in hits. Reading didn't commit a single error in the field. Cameron Ellis had the most chances in the field with four.
Moeller improves to (28-2) with a playoff matchup with Fairfield looming!
