MOELLER BASEBALL IS YOUR 2022 DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!!!

Moeller defeated Springboro 10-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Carson Marsh induced a groundout from Ethan O'Bryan to finish off the game.
 
The Crusaders secured the victory thanks to six runs in the fourth inning. Moeller's offense in the inning was led by Nathan Manley, Nate Earley, Clay Burdette, Charlie Niehaus, all knocking in runs in the inning.
 
Moeller got on the board in the first inning. Earley homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two Crusader runs. 
 
One bright spot for Springboro was a double by Alec Poole in the fourth inning.
 
Toby Hueber earned the victory on the hill for the Crusaders. The pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out seven. Marsh threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
 
Tony Spangler took the loss for Springboro. The pitcher allowed five hits and eight runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four.
 
Moeller launched two home runs on the day. Earley went deep in the first inning. Manley had a dinger in the fourth inning.
 
Big Moe racked up nine hits in the game. Niehaus, Manley, and Earley each racked up multiple hits for the Crusaders. 

Niehaus led Moeller with three hits in four at bats. The Crusaders were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Manley had the most chances in the field with 11.

Moeller improves to (27-2) on the year! This win marks the 20th District Championship in Moeller Baseball History!
