Moeller scores more runs than Elder, takes the victory on Monday to the tune of 4-2.

In the bottom of the third inning, Elder tied things up at one when Jermey Ward singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

After the Crusaders scored one run in the top of the fifth, Elder answered with one of their own. Moeller scored when Will Jansen induced Toby Hueber to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Elder then answered when an error scored one run for Elder.

Moeller pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Griff Cady was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Max Tramontana led the Crusaders to victory on the hill. The right hander lasted six innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out eight.

Carson Marsh threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Marsh recorded the last three outs to earn the save for the Crusaders.

Alex Riesenbeck took the loss for Elder. The pitcher surrendered two runs on three hits over three and a third innings.

Hueber led Moeller with two hits in four at bats. Elder didn't commit a single error in the field. Ward had the most chances in the field with six.

Moeller improves to (17-1), (7-1) in the GCL South!
