The Crusaders left Kremchek Stadium Monday night with another very impressive victory to improve to (13-1) on the season.
Senior starting pitcher
Max Tramontana got the start vs the Lancers. The last time Tramontana took the mound vs La Salle he threw a NO-HITTER!
Moeller would get things started in the first inning when
Nate Earley singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
Max Tramontana earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for the Crusaders. The righty allowed four hits and one run over six innings, striking out seven and walking one.
Ryan Benne threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Benne recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Moeller Varsity Crusaders.
Nick Heffron took the loss for La Salle. The bulldog went six innings, allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out three.
Charlie Niehaus went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Moeller in hits. The Crusaders tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases.
Nathan Manley led the way with two.
Moeller was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Manley made the most plays with nine.
