St. Xavier jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning scoring four unearned runs on four hits, a walk and three Moeller errors. The Crusaders played errorless ball, got solid pitching and timely hitting the rest of the game to come back and defeat the Bombers 12-5. The win gives the JV's a three game sweep of the Bombers, pushes their record to 18-5 and a GCL South championship record of 8-1.

Moeller scored two in the bottom of the second to make the score 4-2 then tied the game at 4-4 in the fourth on a RBI single by
Zach French (SS) and a sacrifice fly RBI by pinch hitter
Alex Dicke. St. Xavier scored a run in their half of the inning to regain the lead at 5-4.

A big seven run sixth gave Moeller a 11-5 lead. Moeller collected five hits in the inning and were aided by four walks and three Bomber errors.
Ethan Brose (RF) doubled off the right field wall scoring pinch runner
Evan Gatto in the seventh inning to make the final score 12-5.

Tucker Koester (RHP) pushed his record to 6-0 pitching in relief of starter
Walker Pedante (RHP). Koester went the final four innings giving up a run on two hits while striking out two batters. Pedante went four innings and after a rough first inning settled down and pitched a scoreless second and third inning.

On the day Moeller collected 14 hits and were lead by
Cole Rieman (CF) who had a big day with four hits and two RBI.
