Moeller Regional Semifinal Game Highlights:
AJ McBride was the Player of the Game for the Crusaders finishing with a game high 16 points.
The senior forward finished shooting 4-9 from the field and a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line.
McBride's night was capped off with a miraculous full court buzzer beater at the end of the 3rd quarter.
The SCTop10 play completely shifted the momentum and gave the Crusaders a 4 point cushion heading into the 4th.
However, Moeller found themselves trailing Elder 34-35 with under a minute to go in the game.
GCL South Player of the Year
Alex Kazanecki stepped up when Big Moe needed him the most.
With under 30 seconds remaining,
Alex Kazanecki nailed a 3 pointer from the left wing to give the Crusaders a 37-35 lead.
Kazanecki finished the night with 8 points on 2-3 shooting from the field with 4 rebounds and 2 blocked shots.
Moeller continues to play excellent defense as they once again held another opponent under 40 points.
The Crusaders will need that defense to carry over to Saturday's game with the Elks.
Centerville scored the 2nd most points against the Crusaders this season in the first matchup (62).
If Big Moe can slow down the potent Centerville attack, Moeller will be heading back to the FINAL FOUR!
