Congratulations to the Moeller Basketball team on a remarkable 2023-24 season.

The Crusaders (26-2) were GCL South Champions, advanced to the Elite 8, and finished as OHSAA Regional Runner-Ups. 

Moeller's only 2 loses this season came to the Centerville Elks, who will represent Southwest Ohio in the Final Four once again.

This marked the 7th consecutive year that either Moeller or Centerville will be representing Region 4 in the OHSAA Final Four.

It's the 9th consecutive year that Moeller or Centerville have appeared in the OHSAA Regional Championship

Finally, it's the 10th consecutive year that at least Moeller or Centerville have advanced to the Sweet 16. 

To summarize, these two programs have dominated basketball in Southwest Ohio for awhile and Saturday was no different. 

Congratulations again to Coach Kremer and his entire team on an outstanding season, there is lots to be proud of. 

OHSAA Regional Championship Highlights: 

Even though the Crusaders came up short, there were still some awesome things worth highlighting. 

Junior forward Alex Kazanecki exploded in this one scoring a game high 34 points on 11-16 shooting from the field. 

Kazanecki was the spark that kept the Crusaders close, including a handful of late clutch buckets and free throws. 

Senior Eric Mahaffey was the 2nd leading scorer for the Crusaders finishing with 11 points, and 5-7 from the free throw line. 

Mahaffery had a shot at the very end to win it but came up just short on his driving layup attempt. 

The Crusaders battled all game long and were able to force two overtime periods after trailing by double digits late in the 4th. 

This team showed a lot of heart and represented Moeller High School in the best way possible. 

The Moeller family could not be more proud of this team and we cant wait to see what our seniors do in their next adventures.
