Ross Invite Results.... Week Seven Update!

The regular season concluded for the Moeller Cross Country Team on Saturday, October 5^th, 2024, with the Ross Invitational at Ross High School in Hamilton, Ohio with the team capturing first place out of 10 teams with 24 points.
 
Running Varsity and finishing first place was Junior Brock Grubert in a time of 16:12 (out of 81 runners). Also scoring were Junior Owen Speed (2^nd – 16:13), Junior Preston Wesley (3^rd – 16:15), Junior Zach Lazor (4^th – 17:00), and Freshman Paul Eckstein (14^th – 17:35). Rounding out the Varsity squad were Duncan Shirley, Jake Jankowski, Hayden Sorg, Steve Schuette, and Murphy Maynes. 




 
In the JV Race, the squad finished 2^nd of 6 teams with 59 points. Leading the way was Senior Carson Todd in 1^st place (out of 135 runners) with a time of 17:54. Also scoring were Jacob Scott, Nick Nedzel, Garrett Keller, and Xavier Ferguson.

Post-season action now begins with the GCL South Championship at Moeller's home course… Christ's Church Mason, in Mason, Ohio on Saturday, October 12^th, 2024.  

The Varsity, JV, and Freshmen squads will run a combined race at 9:00am, followed by the Open race at 10:00am. Awards to follow at 11:00pm. 

Our guys would greatly appreciate having a blue/gold cheering section there on Saturday morning as we go up against our league rivals on all three levels. Thanks in advance for all your continued support of Moeller Cross Country, and good luck to all the other fall sports the remainder of their seasons.
