OHSAA District Results....Week Nine Update!

The OHSAA Division One Southwest Ohio District Cross Country Championships were held on October 19^th, 2024 at VOA Park in Westchester, Ohio where the Crusader team finished 3^rd of 16 teams in Race "A" with 93 points With the top five teams advancing, Moeller's team has earned a bid to Regional's next week, our third year in a row. 
 
Moeller's top finisher was Junior Brock Grubert who finished 5^th in 15:51 (out of 106 runners). Also scoring were Junior Owen Speed (8^th – 16:01), Junior Preston Wesley (14^th – 16:14), Junior Zach Lazor (28^th – 16:40), and Freshman Paul Eckstein (38^th – 17:11). Also finishing Varsity were Freshman Jake Jankowski, and Junior Duncan Shirley.

The District JV/Open race was contested on October 17^th, 2024 at Home of the Brave Park in Loveland, Ohio where that squad finished 11^th of 16 teams with 293 points. Top finisher for Moeller was Freshman Hayden Sorg in 43^rd place (out of 251 runners) with a time of 18:04. Also scoring Murphy Maynes, Jacob Scott, Garrett Keller, and Nick Nedzel.

While the JV season has concluded, the Varsity season will continue with the OHSAA Region 4 Championship on Saturday, October 26^th, 2024 in Troy, Ohio. Race time will be 2:00pm. The top five teams and top twenty individuals will advance to State.
