Moeller went into enemy territory Friday night and left with a GCL South clinching victory over Elder.
The Crusaders have now won 6 straight conference matchups dating back to last season.

Not only did the Varsity team handle their business but the JV and Freshman teams also secured GCL South chips.

The environment in The Pit on Friday night was absolutely phenomenal.
You could just feel the energy in the stadium with the GCL South Championship on the line.
The Crusaders were able to get out to a fast start and never looked back.

Jordan Marshall began to impose his will on this game early in the 2nd quarter.
Marshall finished the night with 117 yards rushing on 22 carries and 3 touchdowns.
The senior captain broke the All-Time Moeller rushing record on a 11 yard carry in the middle of the 3rd quarter.
Marshall passes Marcus Blanks '01 to become to the NEW All-Time Leading Rusher in Archbishop Moeller High School history.
Not only did Marshall dominate this game on the ground, but he also threw a touchdown pass.

Roman Mason early in the 4th quarter on a 46 yard halfback pass to effectively put the game on ice.

Matt Ponatoski finished the night 11-17 for 153 yards and a touchdown.
The Moeller defense or "Havoc Mob" was outstanding once again, holding Elder to just 7 points at home.
Big Moe forced Elder's quarterbacks into 4 interceptions.

Kyler Paul lead Moeller in tackles on their way to an eye opening victory.
Moeller is over 500 for the first time this season bringing their record to (4-3), (3-0) in the GCL South.
The 2023 GCL South Champs will now turn their attention north to legendary St. Ignatius High School.
The Crusaders host St. Ignatius this Saturday, October 7 at Mount St. Joseph University. Kickoff is scheduled at 2:00pm.
