Big Moe picked up another big time GCL win over the La Salle Lancers to improve to 12-3 on the season.
The Crusaders are now sitting in 2nd place in the GCL South with a 2-1 record. Moeller's only loss came in the GCL opener to Elder who is currently 3-0.
Evan Mahaffey led the way for the Crusaders again in this matchup scoring 19 on 6-7 from the field and 7-10 from the free throw line.
He also tacked on 11 rebounds for yet another double double this season.
Mahaffey has been tough for teams to slow down this year, he just always seems to find a way to get into the paint and dominate.
With the defensive intensity this Crusader team plays with and the ability of Mahaffey to impose his will on a basketball game, it makes Moeller tough to beat.
The Crusaders now turn their attention to a home matchup with the Turpin Spartans on Saturday. Turpin was able to beat Elder just a couple weeks ago.
