Box Score It was a wet and wild Friday night in Dayton. After a two hour rain delay, the fans were back in the stands and the teams took the field. The Crusaders had a shaky start to the night which included a muffed kick off return, a fumble inside their own 15 yard line, an offsides penalty, and a one play eight yard touchdown run from the Eagles.
The Crusaders stayed focused though and were leading 21-14 by halftime. Their momentum continued into the second half. After a short punt and good return, the Crusaders started their first drive inside the Eagles territory. It took four plays, 37 yards for the Crusaders to score and led by two scores. This brings the Moeller's record against the Chaminade to 11-0 all-time.
The Crusaders move to 2-0 on the season and will travel to East Central (IN) next Friday, September 3.
