Coach Hale will be entering his ninth year coaching high school baseball and his first year with the Moeller baseball program. Coach Hale pitched at Norwood High School, where he led the FAVC in innings and ERA his junior and senior year. The fall before his senior season he also represented Team Ohio in the Midwestern Classic.
Nate continued his playing career at the University of Cincinnati-Clermont. While at Clermont, Nate earned a role as a back of the bullpen pitcher his sophomore and junior year. In his junior season, UC Clermont won their first ever National Championship.
Coach Hale’s previous two coaching stints before arriving at Moeller were with Northwest High School for two years and Norwood High School for six years. While at Northwest, four players went on to continue their playing careers as pitchers at the college level. Two pitchers continued their careers as pitchers in his time at Norwood.
Coach Hale is in his ninth year as a teacher at Norwood High School. He is married to Theresa Hale, who is an Assistant Principal at Mount Notre Dame.
