Coach Lee Meyer, a 2007 Moeller alum, enters his third year as the head coach.  In 2021, his first full season, he led the Crusaders to an overall record of 23-3, co-GCL champions, and ultimately, a State Championship! In his first season he was recognized as the GCL Coach of the Year and the South Region Coach of the Year.

While attending Moeller, Coach Meyer was a three-year varsity starter and won two State championships (‘05 and ‘07)  and one state runner up (‘06).  In his senior season, Lee was recognized as the GCL Player of the Year, South Region Player of the Year and All-Ohio Player of the Year. After his high school career, he continued playing Division I volleyball at Ball State University.  Lee then played professionally in Costa Rica in 2011 for one season and returned home to Cincinnati.

Coach Meyer’s first experience as a coach for Moeller volleyball was as a varsity assistant in 2012.  That year, he helped coach the team to a 27-2 record and a State Championship! Between 2012 and 2019, he coached at numerous local girls/boys clubs and spent two years as an assistant coach for the DIII men’s team at Mount St. Joseph University.  Coach Meyer is excited to be back at his alma mater and is ready to grow on the legacy of Moeller volleyball!
