Coach Burkardt started his coaching career in 2003 where he was the Assistant Varsity Girls coach at Lakota West High School working under head coach Tim Lambert. He then moved, with Coach Lambert, to Mason High School and was the Assistant to the Boys Varsity Team.
Jim was married for 50 years to his wife Debbie before she was taken to heaven in September of 2022. Jim has 2 children, Jim and Jenifer, who have blessed him with 4 grandchildren where 2 of them, Jake and Nate Renneker, graduated from Moeller High School. Jim is also a veteran of the Vietnam war and had a 31 career in computer technology at Procter & Gamble Co.
Coach Burkardt has been an assistant coach for 20 years and is looking forward to continuing his love of golf at Moeller High School.
