Archbishop Moeller Crusaders Athletics

Ian Bach is entering his sixth year as Archbishop Moeller High School’s Director of Analytics and Video. A 2014 graduate of Covington Catholic High School, Ian went on to play collegiate baseball at Earlham College and holds a Master’s in Business Analytics from Purdue University. He has held a range of player development positions, from technology apprenticeships with the Houston Astros and Cincinnati Reds to performance specialist roles at private training facilities. Ian has developed expertise in movement assessments, strength training program design, pitcher analysis, as well as data interpretation and visualization.

At Moeller, Ian also created and oversees the baseball analytics internship program, which has produced numerous interns who have gone on to work in collegiate programs and professional baseball organizations.

In addition to his work at Moeller, Ian is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) accredited by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He also hosts BachTalk, a podcast dedicated to discussing player development and the evolution of the baseball industry with industry professionals. Currently, Ian works as a consultant specializing in Oracle implementation, focusing on business process optimization and supply chain analytics.

Ian and his wife, Lauren, reside in Alexandria, Kentucky.
