The 2026 season marks Coach Booth’s sixth year as an Assistant Coach with the Moeller Varsity Baseball Program. A native of Cincinnati, Chris attended La Salle High School before pitching collegiately at Sinclair Community College and Thomas More University, where he helped lead the program to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. That 2000 Thomas More team was later inducted into the Thomas More University Athletics Hall of Fame.

Following graduation, Coach Booth signed professionally with the Springfield Capitals of the Frontier League. His coaching career spans more than two decades, including five years at the collegiate level as a pitching coach and recruiting coordinator across NCAA Division I, II, and III programs—Thomas More University, University of Charleston, and the Virginia Military Institute (VMI)—where he earned recognition as VMI’s Assistant Coach of the Year.

Since returning to Cincinnati, Coach Booth has contributed to several top high school programs, including Newport Central Catholic (KY), La Salle, Loveland, and Lakota West High School. At Moeller, he was part of the coaching staff that captured the 2023 State Championship, earning him recognition as the 2023 Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year.

Throughout his career, more than 30 of Coach Booth’s former players have advanced to play professional baseball.

Chris resides in Milford with his wife, Kristi, and their three sons—Griffin (’25), Brooks (’28), and Spencer (’31).
