Coach Bourassa is beginning his first season with the Moeller Baseball Program and brings 20+ years of Collegiate & Professional Baseball experience.
Coach Bourassa attended and played baseball at Kishwaukee College (Malta, IL) before transferring and graduating from Wake Forest University (Winston-Salem, NC) where he was an All-American. He was a two-time Cape Cod League All-Star while playing with the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox in 2001 and in 2002 and earned the Manny Robelo 10th Player Award in 2001. A 6th round Draft Pick in the 2003 MLB draft by the Texas Rangers, Coach Bourassa went on to complete a 5-year professional playing career (2003-2007) with the Rangers, San Diego Padres & St. Paul Saints.
His previous experience in baseball includes Advance scouting for the Boston Red Sox (2008), as well as time as an Amateur Scout with the San Diego Padres (2009-2013) & Pittsburgh Pirates (2016-2023). He was also an Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Cincinnati from 2014-2015.
Professionally, Coach Bourassa is an Account Executive at GoRout. Coach Bourassa currently lives in Milford with his wife Dana, and 2 daughters, Kensley (13), and Berlynn (9).
