Coach Thompson has coached tennis at Moeller since 2006, and he will be starting his 13th season as the varsity head coach this spring. Coach Thompson has led the team to one GCL co-championship and 12 second-place finishes. The team has made the State Tournament Sweet-16 twice. Coach Thompson has been on the board for the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Coaches Association, both as the vice president and the secretary. He also coached girls’ tennis at Mount Notre Dame for five years as assistant varsity coach, where his team finished second at State. He also coached a singles state champion. Coach Thompson is in his 17th year of teaching science at Moeller High School.
