Archbishop Moeller Crusaders Athletics

John enters his seventh year as an assistant varsity coach at Moeller.  Originally from the Baltimore area, Coach McGenney played collegiately at UMBC, where he was a two-time team captain and an All-American and played in the North/South All-Star game his senior year.  

Coach McGenney went on to play professionally for the Philadelphia Wings of the Major Indoor Lacrosse League and played at the club level in Philadelphia.  He has coached at the youth and middle and high school levels for the past 19 years and won the OHSAA state title with the Moeller lacrosse program in 2017.
