Carl Kremer - Varsity Head Coach   

Carl Kremer graduated in 1978 from Miami East High School in Troy, Ohio. He received his bachelor’s degree in history in 1982 and his master’s degree in counseling in 1984 from Eastern Kentucky University. His administrative coursework was done at the University of Cincinnati.  

Carl has been a member of the Moeller staff since 1984. During his first eight years, he taught a variety of subjects, including history, government, and English. He served as the assistant principal/dean of students until the fall of 2017, when he was named interim principal and then named permanent principal in February of 2018. Carl now serves as president of Moeller. 

Carl has been coaching basketball for the Crusaders for 36 years, 29 as the head varsity coach. In those 29 years Coach Kremer compiled a 575-157 record. His teams have won the Greater Catholic League championships 22 out of the past 26 years. He has led his Crusaders to seven City championships; 14 District championships; eight Regional championships; one State Final Four; two State runner-up finishes; and five Division 1 State Championships.  

Carl and his wife, Johanna, reside in Maineville, OH. They have a son, Joe (Moeller ‘12, Dayton ‘17) and a daughter, Jackie (MND ‘12, Dayton ‘16).
