MOELLER  7   INDIAN HILL JV  1

The Indian Hill Braves JV team were the guests of the Moeller Freshman today at Crosley Field inside the Blue Ash Sports Complex.  Three Moeller pitchers held the Braves to 1 earned run.  David Hagan pitched 3.1 innings allowing 1 earned run, 2 hits, 6 walks and 4 strikeouts.  Kellan Klosterman pitched 1.2 innings, 2 hits, 2 walks, and 4 strikeouts, and Ryan Land tossed 2 innings, 1 walk, and 4 strikeouts.  Moeller scored first with a leadoff line drive base hit by Jordon Marshall who advanced to 2^nd base on a Will McCullough fielders choice and scored on a ground ball that the shortstop booted off the bat of Ryan Land.   Moeller then scored 3 more runs in the 2^nd inning.  Back to back walks to David Hagan and Evan Scott.  JJ Miller dropped a perfect bunt for a base hit to load the bases.  Tanner Coe hit a sac fly to leftfield to score Hagan and then threw the ball away to score Scott.  Miller then scored on a Marshall sac fly to put the Crusaders up 4-0.  Evan Scott drove in Jacob Asbeck who singled and store 2b with a base hit in the 5^th inning.  Moeller added 2 more runs in the bottom of the 6^th inning.  Marshall singled and stole 2b.  Asbeck walked and Ryan Land singled to score Marshall.  Sam Scuglik singled home Asbeck for Moeller’s final run.   The GCL Champions record goes to 22-4  with 1 game left in the season.
