Freshman Baseball Game Notes — Indian Hill (JV) May 14, 2021

MOELLER 7 INDIAN HILL JV 1
The Indian Hill Braves JV team were the guests of the Moeller Freshman today at Crosley Field inside the Blue Ash Sports Complex. Three Moeller pitchers held the Braves to 1 earned run. David Hagan pitched 3.1 innings allowing 1 earned run, 2 hits, 6 walks and 4 strikeouts. Kellan Klosterman pitched 1.2 innings, 2 hits, 2 walks, and 4 strikeouts, and Ryan Land tossed 2 innings, 1 walk, and 4 strikeouts. Moeller scored first with a leadoff line drive base hit by Jordon Marshall who advanced to 2nd base on a Will McCullough fielders choice and scored on a ground ball that the shortstop booted off the bat of Ryan Land. Moeller then scored 3 more runs in the 2nd inning. Back to back walks to David Hagan and Evan Scott. JJ Miller dropped a perfect bunt for a base hit to load the bases. Tanner Coe hit a sac fly to leftfield to score Hagan and then threw the ball away to score Scott. Miller then scored on a Marshall sac fly to put the Crusaders up 4-0. Evan Scott drove in Jacob Asbeck who singled and store 2b with a base hit in the 5th inning. Moeller added 2 more runs in the bottom of the 6th inning. Marshall singled and stole 2b. Asbeck walked and Ryan Land singled to score Marshall. Sam Scuglik singled home Asbeck for Moeller’s final run. The GCL Champions record goes to 22-4 with 1 game left in the season.
