Freshman Baseball Game Notes — Centerville May 10, 2021

MOELLER 10 CENTERVILLE 1
The Crusaders put it all together today in downing the Centerville Elks 10-1 at the Blue Ash Sports Complex. Kellan Klosterman and Alec Bashardoust combined to hold the Elks to 1 unearned run. Klosterman pitched the first 3 innings and did not give up a hit with 1 walk and 1 strikeout. Bashardoust tossed the final 4 innings allowing just 1 unearned run with 2 hits, 1 walk and 3 strikeouts. Moeller scored 2 runs in the 1st inning and never looked back. Jordan Marshall reached on an error and stole second base. Will McCullough singled and went to 2nd on a wild pitch. Marshall scored on an rbi fielders choice by Jacob Asbeck and McCullough scored on a rbi fielders choice by Kaden Snodgrass. The Frosh added runs in the 3rd and 5th inning, but put the game out of reach in the 6th inning. Cale Migal, Luke Dietrich led the inning off with walks. Jordan Marchall beat out a bunt to load the bases. Will McCullough drilled a ball over the rightfielder’s head to double home Migal and Dietrich. Ryan Land reached on an error by the rightfielder to drive Marshall home. Moeller scored their 4th run of the inning when Cameron Gilreath walked with bases loaded. Will McCullough was 2 for 4, with Jordan Marshall, Jacob Asbeck, Kaden Snodgrass, Ryan Land, David Hagen, Evan Scott, and Cale Migal all collecting hits. Freshman record is 19-4 & 7-1 in the GCL.
