MOELLER  11   ST. XAVIER  0  (6 INNINGS)

The Moeller Freshman took one step closer in their march to the 2021 GCl title.  It took some timely hitting and shutout pitching by David Hagan and Drew Budd to walk away with a 11-0 run rule victory at St. Xavier.  Hagen pitch 4 innings on 2 hits, 1 walk and 5 strikeouts.  Budd finished the last 2 innings on 1 hit, 2 walks, and 1 strikeout.  The Moeller offense was awesome.  Cale Migal led off the 3^rd inning with a triple and cam home on Will McCullough’s base hit.  McCullough stole second and scored on Ryan Land’s double to put the Crusaders up 2-0 and a lead they would not give up.  The followed with 5 more runs in the bottom of the 4^th inning.  With walks to Evan Scott and Cale Migal and Forrest Day reaching on an error to load the bases, Jordan Marshall walked, Will McCullough reached ona fielders choice and Kayden Snodgrass singled to send The Big Moe to a 7-0 lead.   The Moeller offense was lead by Jordan Marshall 3 for 3, 2 walks and 3 RBIs.  Jacob Asbeck banged out 2 hits and a walk with 1 RBI. Cale Migal and Jordan Marshall had triples.  The Moeller Freshman now stands at 13 – 4 and 6-1 to lead the GCL.  In addition our 4-0 pre-season scrimmage record and B team record of 1-0.
