ELDER  5    MOELLER  4

This was a game of walks and errors.  The Crusaders suffered their 1^st GCL loss of the year to the Elder Panthers on their home field.  Moeller received a stellar pitching performance from starter Ryan Land.  Ryan pitched 5.2 innings of 2 hit baseball.  In the process he struck out 11 Panther batters and was in total control.  He only walked 2 and hit 1 batter.  After the first batter of the 6^th inning reached on an error, Ryan’s pitch count reached it’s limit.  Unfortunately, the bull pen could not throw strikes and the Panthers scored 5 unearned runs to win the game.  

Moeller took a 4 run lead into the 6^th inning.  Kaden Snodgrass and Ryan Land both singled and Kaden scored when Jacob Asbeck reached on a shortstop error in the 1^st inning.  Moeller added a 2^nd run in the 3^rd inning and 2 more runs in the top of the 6^th inning.  Snodgrass got 2 hits in the game in addition to hits by Land, David Hagen, Will McCullough, and Cale Migal.  The Moeller record is now 10-3 and 3-1 in the GCL.
