Freshman Baseball Scrimmage Notes — Colerain March 20, 2021

MOELLER 13 COLERAIN 0 – 5 innings (SCRIMMAGE)
Timely hitting and great pitching led Moeller's Freshman Crusaders to their 2nd scrimmage win verses the Colerain Cardinals today at a chilly Blue Ash Sports Complex. In the home half of the second inning, Kellan Klosterman and Kaden Snodgrass led off with walks.
Ethan Page stepped up and singled home Klosterman for Moeller's first run. Cale Migal walked to load the bases and set up Brock Wissel's sacrifice fly to put Moeller up 2-0. Jordan Marshall cracked his second hit of the day to drive Seth Williams home.
The Moeller offense scored 1 run in the 3rd inning and 9 more runs in the 4th inning in main part to Colerain pitching issues. Ryan Land and Ethan Page combined to shut out the Cardinals on only 3 hits. Land pitched the first 3.2 innings allowing 2 hits, 1 walk and 6 strikeouts.
Page finished the game tossing 1.1 innings with 1 hit 1 walk and 2 strikeouts.
