Freshman Baseball Game Notes — Mason March 27, 2021

MASON 9 MOELLER 2
The Moeller Freshman opened the 2021 season against the Mason Comets today at the Blue Ash Sports Complex. Mason posted 3 runs in the top of the 1st inning on 2 walks, 2 hit batters, 1 error and 1 hit. Moeller scored their first run in the bottom of the 3rd inning.
Ethan Page and Ryan Land walked and advanced to second and third base on a wild pitch. Will McCullough grounded into a fielder's choice to score Page and pick up the RBI.
David Hagen pitched the first 3 innings, with Ethan Page tossing the next 2 innings. Forrest Day held the Comets scoreless in the final 2 innings. Moeller scored their 2nd run in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Will McCullough reached on a fielder's choice. Kaden Snodgrass singled and Sam Scuglik banged out his second hit of the game to score McCullough.
